I am looking for an investment option that yields high interest and that is not required to be a long term commitment. I would like to start out investing $50 a month / 600 a year.

I’m 29. What percentage of my investment portfolio should be high risk investments? When do I begin to move these to more conservative investments?

High technology is vague, but I am talking about companies who are innovative and whose products will be needed in the foreseeable future. An example would the a particular company who is on the cutting edge of nano-technology.
