How can i make the configure 1 computer to others computers plz you have to deeply and detail understand for me

I have been in and out of different colleges trying to see what to do. I want to be able to build, maintain and troubleshoot computers, but I am a little confused in which direction I should go. Into the Information Technology side or the engineering side to become a technician.

I am about to join 1600 computers to my Active Directory domain. Their current names contain underscores, which violates the corporate naming policy. I have to change their names before I join them. These are remote machines, so I will probably use some sort of script. Before anyone suggests netdom, it only works on domain [...]

I saw that these days laptops don’t have that much of a difference from computers with their CPUs, so why would people buy a computer these days? Why do you own a desktop?

Here’s the situation: I have a modem which have 4 connections. 1 of them is connected to a wireless router and 3 others to computers. When I connect to the router, I can see the workgroup computers of others who use wireless. However, I can’t see the workgroup computers of those connected to the modem. [...]
