Exabytes Hosting Sucks – Updates

First Replied I got from David because i can’t view my site at all. (ALL SITE)

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I have rectified the issue. The website can be browsed. Please give it a try after reboot your internet connection as there might be dns cache from your end.

Dear Benny,
Please give a try again to browse your websites. However, please ensure the ip that will refer is ‘210.48.157.107‘ from following steps,
- click start > click run > type ‘cmd’ > type ‘ping bennyliew.com‘
Note : Do apply to the rest domain as well.
FYI, the old web pages will be referred when the ping result is ‘210.48.145.9‘. This is because I were browsing to the similar content as yours also.
I will place this ticket under on hold status while further checking the previous problem.

Hello Benny,
Based on my checking as this issue was due to we have perform account termination on your old account in Korbu(210.48.145.9) server which redirecting the DNS to current Bramble(210.48.157.107) Server.
I am refer to ticket STR-508588 and found that actually our support do remind to change your DNS of your domain and addon domain to DNS detail as below for Bramble server on Wed, 27 Feb 2008 01:24:01 +0800.
Primary DNS : ns101.mschosting.com 210.48.145.137
Secondary DNS : ns102.mschosting.com 72.18.132.245Please perform ping at your end as referred to David step if you still found that your IP is resolve to 210.48.145.9 then your side still cache to the older page and if your IP is resolve to 210.48.157.107 then your side is using the latest information.
Please proceed to change the DNS for all of your domain in your hosting account so we may proceed to the account termination on old hosting account.

So now, I was wondering either these support staff working in the same office..or different office? or different geographic area? Eg: One in US, one in Singapore and one in India? I really really confused and Pissed OFF.

Fortunately, I didn’t choose Exabytes to be my hosting….beside the price of hosting are too high there…you can find cheaper server with excellent quality…you can check through forum which is the best in Malaysia…

Stay away from exabytes, guys. My current experience with them is horrible. I don’t wish to continue hosting with them. Now i don’t know which malaysian web hosting company we can ACTUALLY rely on.

I agree with you, I am dealing with them at the moment and it has been a nightmare.
I was curious though, why do you want a Malaysian web hosting? -
Benny, thanks for sharing. Location of support is one thing but I do see another problem they have. Instead of solving your problem, they point you around with different suggestion which did not help at all. Not everyone understand what is Korbu server, IP address or ‘cmd’
