Unduk Ngadau 2008 Can’t Wear Makeup?

Well i read somewhere and overheard some rumors that 2008 Unduk Ngadau contestant will not be allowed to wear any make up during the competition. I know this is sound weird and strange. At first i was like “Ha? Sure meh? they are going to implement the Unduk Ngadau 2008 competition without make up?.

Hmm…I just couldn’t believe it. I mean ya i do understand that previous years…long time ago when we are still in Black and white years most of the Unduks Doesn’t really wear makeup or maybe No makeup at all. But now.. hmm i don’t think they can afford not to wear makeup at all during the competition.

For those who is in doubt and wondering if they will implement the contest without makeup i would like to tell you guys that there is no such things Ya, I called the Makeup artiste in charge and he confirmed me that all unduk ngadau 2008 contestants will be still wearing Makeup orite? i hope this will clear out the rumors

  1. Wooo.. natural beauty? :P

  2. Ethel: heheh ya ya natural Beauty bebeh

  3. A male friend of mine pernah bilang, “mana lagi cantik, hutan belukar or golf course”.. I told him golf course… He said perempuan pun mesti jaga kecantikan semulajadi… natural tu natural juga.. hutan belukar & golf course pun natural.. tapi golf course lebih cantik because dia trimmed & kasi cosmetic di mana yg diperlukan.. hehehe!

bah, looking forward for ur photos!

  4. Cel: ngam very well said.. memang kana jaga kencantikan kan..trim the bush lols hahahah kidding kidding tapi sa rasa…sa rasa…padang golf cantik oh

  5. LOL! Cel, metaphor yg sesuai sekali. LOL!
Anyway, kalu teda makeup, teda makan lah tu femos2 makeup artist Kadus kita like MArtin Buguk…

  6. I believe in inner beauty…so too much make up is just faking it. They should portray the real beauty of our Kadus beauties. As for me their make ups should be kept at the minimum…

  7. i think its the best thing they have ever implemented.Unless they sell make up during the competition then its ok to wear 1 kilo of make up on their face. And it is not fair to those who doesn’t have make up artist to do their “professional “make up for them. So,in short i support that.Unduk ngadau is supposed to be natural beauty not a fake face on stage.

  8. there is another comment i would like to suggest though, this is about the girls who are always getting into the competition EVERY year. The same face, same broken english, same fake smile and always trying to win.And if they don’t,they will try winning it somewhere else where any organizer are having beauty pageant or competitions. Its sick to see them.Come on ladies, give me a break.I dun wanna c ur face anymore. Please!

  9. i think they look horrible with make up because most of the time the make up artiste will just over do it, ie super red lipstick, neon blue eyeshadow, too much blush. they look like clowns.

they should go au naturel. this is whatthe unduk ngadau is all about. it’s not a miss world or miss universe show. why do we want to turn the unduk ngadau into another beauty pageant like in the west.

  10. I’ve read this on the paper. No make-up is a no-no. If u want to see those girls without makeups, then go to the rehearsal. Everyone wants to look at their best during the competition. Actually it’s not the face that carries the highest point.

Off topic: Even if u are the most beautiful, it doesn’t mean you can win ya! Even if they keep changing the judges, what happen at the back of the stage is another thing…
