Bloggers often complained when their blog receive very small number of visitors. We normally heard bloggers asking tips about how to drive more traffic to their blog, gain more exposure or even become popular among the bloggers world. This tips may already revealed by others blogger but i would like to share my own experienced which i see this things really works.

If you just started your blog, this is a must read Tips. If you are really serious with your blog, you may even want to spend lots of money just to promote your blog, but for this one it’s FREE. So How to drive traffic to your blog?

1) Participate in forum

This is a general practice who knows the secret. How do you actually do this?. Very simple, go to any forum that is popular eg. (Digitalpoint.com,forum.com and many others) once, you registered, first thing you need to do is, to go to your control panel (Cp) to add your signature (normally forum site has restriction, where you can only have no more than 3 lines and not more than 3 link to be posted in your signature) then right after your signature ready, start posting new topic or reply to any topic, try to pick the most talk topic or be one of the first to reply the topic and be as often as you can to follow what others have to say about it. in simple words you must be Active with the topic.

2) Participate in Social Networking sites

I guess now it is the Facebook.com fever then myspace.com, ibibo.com,friendster.com, and lots others social networking site that is based on friends network. What you need to do? if you are new to this application i suggest you do a test drive and experience the difference. However if you familiar with the system, tweak your profile straight away, display your blog link there, be as creative as you can with your link name, make them wonder about the link. This will increase click and visit.

Participate groups that created by these people around the social networking site, start talking and posting your own topic in any groups you joined. Don’t be shy just talk! i mean write something yeah… Leave Your Site address / signature

Post a bulletin to tell what is going on with your blog. Update your profile as often as possible. Because whenever your updated your profile your friend list will normally receive an updates notification through their email and they will visit your profile again and again. More exposure to your profile means more exposure to your blog too!

3) Participate in any site that provide Free Answer and Question services

Site like, answerbag.com answer.yahoo.com and others related site can really help you on giving away free exposure and even free visitor. But, you need to participate with the service. Like asking a question and answering a question and Activity is very important. and don’t forget to leave your site link at the end of the answer or question.

4) Submit your blog post to social bookmarking site

This include, digg.com,stumbleupon.com, del.icio.us.com, technorati.com, ask.com,furl and many others. this is the simplest way to get visitor to your site. However be ready when you want to submit your article to digg.com or stumbleupon.com, because if any of your post stumbled and it’s happen they love the content and others people vote for the content your blog can go down due to massive traffic loads to your server. So just be extra careful on this, i believe you don’t want to see your blog down and your lovely visitor complain on it right?

5) Register an account at Social Video site

Wow, this is the most talked things on the earth right now, aha i am telling you the truth . So now we actually have youtube.com, metacafe.com, google video, yahoo video and msn video. So what can you do with this social video site? Very simple, just leave a comment on any popular videos on that particular site and leave your signature (which is your blog link or your website link) imagine if your comment seen by 10,000 people and at least 1 % of this people visit your website? that’s 1000 unique visitor right?

If you have funny video or quality video that people would love to watch, do some editing on it, but you need to have knowledge on video editing software. You need to add your site address at the end of the video so that people know your website and imagine if your videos received 1 million hits? and say like 1% people visit your blog or website? that’s is 100,000 unique visitor right?.
